Warranty Policy

At Stitching Desert Rays, every item is handmade with care and inspected before dispatch.

We offer a 7-day workmanship warranty from the date of delivery, covering manufacturing faults only.

What is Covered

This warranty applies to faults caused by workmanship or construction that are present on arrival or become apparent within 7 days of receiving your order.

If a fault is confirmed, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.

Clear photos of the issue must be provided within 7 days of delivery for assessment.

What is NOT Covered

Our warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by use, washing, sun exposure, dirt, food, or general family life
• Incorrect installation or misuse
• Accidental damage
• Changes in fabric colour due to UV exposure
• Items that have been altered or repaired by anyone other than Stitching Desert Rays
• Change of mind purchases

Handmade items may show slight variations in stitching or fabric placement — this is part of the handmade nature and not considered a fault.

Used Items

Items that have been used and later stop working or show wear are not eligible for warranty claims.

Making a Warranty Claim

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:

• Your order number
• A description of the issue
• Clear photos

Claims submitted outside this timeframe may not be accepted.

Product Care Disclaimer

All Stitching Desert Rays products are handmade and designed for everyday family use.

To ensure longevity, please follow the care instructions provided with your order.

Important Care Information

Our products are not indestructible and require reasonable care. Damage caused by incorrect washing, misuse, excessive force, or general wear and tear is not considered a manufacturing fault.

We are not responsible for damage resulting from:

• Failure to follow care instructions
• Machine drying where air drying is recommended
• Exposure to dirt, food, liquids, or harsh cleaning products
• Incorrect installation or use
• Normal wear and tear from everyday family life

Sun / UV Exposure Policy

Many of our products are designed for outdoor use. While quality fabrics are selected, prolonged exposure to sunlight and UV rays can cause fading, fabric breakdown, or loss of elasticity over time.

This is considered normal wear and is not covered under warranty.

Please Note:

• Continuous sun exposure will affect fabric colour and strength
• UV damage occurs gradually and is unavoidable with outdoor products
• Colour fading is not considered a manufacturing fault
• Products should be stored out of direct sunlight when not in use

We recommend rotating usage where possible and following care instructions to help extend product life.

Stitching Desert Rays accepts no responsibility for damage caused by prolonged sun exposure.
